P&C Specialist
Description of the position
As a People & Culture (P&C) Specialist at Nordex you will join our Nordic P&C team of 6 people, some working in Helsinki and some in Uppsala. The role is fixed term and full time, substituting a colleague during their parental leave. Duration of the contract would be for 1 year starting from June, with possibility to extend in case the parental leave is prolonged.
Place of work is Helsinki.
The core responsibility in the role as a P&C Specialist is to be the main contact internally for both payroll and work time system topics in Finland. In this position you will manage the Finnish payroll process together with our outsourced payroll partner and act as a main key user for our time and attendance system in Finland. As we work as a Nordic region P&C team, after some time, Norwegian and/or Swedish payroll topics could also be included in your working tasks.
Nordic Region of Nordex is on the road of developing an united payroll + work time tracking process for the Nordics, so in this position you would also be one of the key players supporting us on that mission.
In addition to the previously mentioned themes your responsibilities include working tasks such as reporting and counseling managers and personnel at different stages of the employment life cycle from the point of view of the salary process. In this role, you are also managing the employment benefits for Finland.
We offer
- The opportunity to work in a motivating, open and international atmosphere
- Learning fairly complex collective agreement and local agreement context, with both office workers and blue-collar employees (in Finland we follow all 3 of the energy industry collective agreements/TES)
- Strengthen your possible previous experience with employee life cycle tasks and (more) specialize on payroll process, or support your career shifts to HR/P&C from applicable job such as payroll administration
- The opportunity for hybrid work (we have a remote office policy that requires 2 days at the office in Ruoholahti, Helsinki per week, rest of the days you can decide freely if you want to work from the office or home/elsewhere)
- Employment benefits with Edenred (lunch, sports/culture, and other benefits per your choosing)
- Phone benefit
- Being part of an industry working for a better future through renewable energy
Our P&C team has an open and respectful atmosphere, where we love to laugh while we work in all seriousness and aim for our targets together. This could be said also for the Nordex Nordic region team overall. We have a friendly and down-to-Earth work community.
