We are seeking a Learning Specialist, Training Program Implementation to join our Metso Academy team. If you're passionate about learning design and project management and eager to grow, we invite you to be part of our team.

 

During 2024 - 2025, we are embarking on Training Program development project to support development of defined strategic capabilities. This is a temporary position for one year. This position is mainly located in Espoo in Finland, but we are happy to offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options.

 

In this role, you will be overseeing the strategic rollout of Training Programs, ensuring the success of our learning initiatives with effective stakeholder management, Training Program coordination and execution in alignment with the established program design. Your contribution will be instrumental in driving the effectiveness and impact of our learning programs. In this position, you will report to Head of Learning Design and Development.


Team you belong to

You will join a team of learning and training experts, dedicated to connecting learning, training, and career growth at Metso. In Metso Academy, we develop and deliver impactful learning experiences and high-quality training materials for both internal and external target groups in different competence areas.

 

We work closely with internal stakeholders, such as subject matter experts from Business and Market Areas as well as external training providers and vendors. The members in our team are in various locations globally. 

 

What you'll do

  • Plan and execute: Develop and execute a comprehensive plan for the learning program, aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Stakeholder collaboration: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to identify program requirements and expectations to ensure successful engagement and implementation.
  • Program coordination and implementation: Deploy diverse learning initiatives effectively based on program design, with established budget, resources, and timelines.
  • Clear communication: Facilitate transparent communication among stakeholders, keeping them informed about program progress, changes, and outcomes.
  • Risk mitigation: Identify and address potential risks and challenges in the learning program, developing proactive strategies to mitigate them.
  • Quality assurance: Ensure the learning program meets or exceeds industry standards.
  • Evaluate the learning program: Measure the effectiveness of learning program, gather feedback and make improvements based on results.

 

Who you are

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree or project management certifications are advantageous.
  • Experience: You'll have a proven track record in Training Program management, including designing, implementing, and launching learning and development initiatives.
  • Effective communication: You'll have strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage stakeholders across all organizational levels.
  • Organizational proficiency: Organizational skills and coordination abilities with excellent attention to detail.
  • Problem-solving skills: Ability to analyze challenges and search solutions proactively.
  • Additionally: Familiarity with project management tools, learning industry trends and adaptability in dynamic environments are highly valued.
