Hr Development Manager

Group Services

Metsä Group's Group Services employ some 1,000 professionals in finance, IT, sourcing and logistics, HR, technology, business process development, communications, law, and many other fields. Their task is to support Metsä Group and its Business Areas in implementing their strategy. Our specialists' independent work is supported by a strongly networked workplace community.

to join our HRD team in Espoo.

As an HR Development Manager you will lead the growth of our people through the deployment of global training programs, Metsä Group Academies, and competence development models together with your team of five professionals.

You will report to VP HR, Recruitment and HR Development.

Your main responsibility areas are:

• Team lead for success and professional growth.As a team leader, you work openly, spar actively and strive for results. You ensure that all your team members meet their objectives and develop as HR professionals. The good team spirit is in your focus.
   

• Competence development. You are responsible forour organization's systematic competence and capability development and methodologies, and participate in developing our HR systems in this area. You identify competence development needs and find solutions to fulfill the identified gaps.
   

• Metsä Group Academies. You bear responsibility for Metsä Group Academies' and ensure that their quality and impact meet the set standards. You will also have HR responsibility of the global Sales Academy and other development programmes. To succeed, you actively interact and spar with the management, participate in development groups and steer the cooperation with external partners.
   

• Unified way of working in people development. Through your active support and participation, you ensure successful global roll-out and deployment of people development processes, tools, and methods in cooperation with your HR colleagues globally. You will also participate in developing social responsibility when related to HR development.

In addition to your solid team leader experience, you also have a broad understanding of learning principles, competence development and related methodologies. You have a strong strive for results combined with excellent communication and cooperation skills. Since you have global responsibilities, you are fluent in English. Finnish language skills is an asset.
