We are looking for a
DEVELOPMENT MANAGER, PROCESS DESIGN & EFFICIENCY
to manage Metsä Group level Process Design development & Contribute to development of Process Mining related analytics in the future.
What's your role in the future Metsä?
Metsä Group is implementing world-class core business processes and aiming to increase process efficiency. We want to ensure that our processes are efficient, modeled according to Metsä Group standards and implemented into daily operations. We also see utilization of process mining and other analytics tools as a key factor to identify areas for improvement.
In your role you will lead Process Design initiatives and ensure that changes in our processes are implemented according to Metsä Group process governance. You will act as a lead process architect and play a key role in increasing the quality of our process descriptions and related documentation to support clear targets and focus set until 2030. In addition you will have an active role in analyzing and interpreting data relating to our process mining activities and mirroring the results to our process models.
You will be a part of Metsä Group Business Process Development Team and ensure the topic is taken forward in close co-operation with many stakeholders such as core process owners and development teams, process mining center of excellence, Metsä Group ICT and our Business Areas . The position gives you an excellent opportunity to utilize your previous knowledge relating to Process Design and expand your competencies in this role. You will play a key role in ensuring that we reach our targets relating to process efficiency.
Your location will be in Espoo, Finland. You will report to Director, Business Process Development.

To succeed you will need versatile skills in business process development. When working in Metsä Group you are working in close co-operation with our core business process owners and their development teams. You will lead a network of designer colleagues and other members from our process development teams and Business Areas. We expect you to have skills in self-leadership and be a person to take initiatives. Good skills in effective communication as well as the ability to generate enthusiasm and work in a multi-cultural matrix environment are a must.
We expect you to have previous experience from a similar role and understanding of business processes and related processes modelling and/or mining systems. We also value your enthusiasm to develop your competence even further. In addition, we expect a relevant educational background and fluency in English. Other languages are seen as an additional asset.
