We are looking for a

DEVELOPMENT MANAGER, BUSINESS PROCESS AUTOMATION

to facilitate and advance Metsä Group level Business Process Automation development work in the future.
 

What's your role in the future Metsä?

Metsä Group is implementing world-class core Business Processes and aiming to increase process efficiency by utilizing state of the art solutions for Process Automation and digitalization. We see utilization of latest and future technologies as a key factor to increase efficiency of our operations.

In your role you will lead and contribute to Business Process Automation and digitalization initiatives across process areas and business area boundaries, according to Metsä Group process governance. The responsibility area mainly includes Business Process related initiatives but you will also closely co-operate with colleagues and stakeholders advancing production related automation (IT/OT) initiatives. Our development roadmaps provide clear targets and focus until 2030.

You will be a part of Metsä Group Business Process Development Team and ensure the topic is taken forward in close co-operation with various stakeholders such as core process owners and development teams, Metsä Group ICT and our Business Areas.The position gives you an excellent opportunity to utilize your previous knowledge relating to Business Process Automation & digitalization and expand your competencies in this role. You will play a key role in our target to capture full benefits of Business Process Automation and improve process efficiency.

Your location will be in Espoo, Finland. You will report to Director, Business Process Development.

Main responsibilities:

• identify, develop and utilize related technologies in close co-operation with Metsä Group ICT
• systematically identify, prioritize, plan and implement Business Process Automation & digitalization activities together with key stakeholders
• contribute to selecting the best suiting technologies based on business requirements
• build and facilitate Metsä Group level Process Automation & digitalization network and contribute to developing related competencies in the organization
• hands on involvement in related development projects
• specify and develop related KPIs
• other specified tasks

What are we looking for?

To succeed you will need versatile skills in Business Process development, automation and digitalization, including change and project management. When working in Metsä Group you are facilitating a network involving members from all our process development teams and Business Areas. We expect you to have previous experience from similar tasks, skills in self-leadership and be a person to take initiatives. Good skills in effective communication as well as the ability to generate enthusiasm and work in a multi-cultural matrix environment are a must.

We value your understanding of digitalization and automation technologies as well as deep understanding of Business Processes and operating models. In addition, we are looking for a candidate with a relevant educational background and fluency in English. Other languages are seen as an additional asset.
