Introduction
We are now seeking a Supplier Development Manager to join our Services BA Sourcing organization. Your role plays a crucial part in translating BA sustainability requirements and market/customer understanding into Supplier Development actions and implementation, which will positively impact the business and our overall sustainability journey. In this position, you will report to Director, Supplier Quality, Development and Sustainability.
The preferred location for this position is Finland, but other European locations will be considered for the right candidate. We are also happy to offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options. However, please note that the position involves up to 50-70% of traveling based on business needs.

What you'll do: 
  • Translate BA sustainability requirements and market/customer understanding into Supplier Development actions and implementation 
  • Lead Supplier Development actions implementation to improve and optimize suppliers' sustainability-related capabilities and processes, while ensuring supplier delivery performance remains at the required level
  • Set up Supplier Sustainability Improvement Plans together with BL Sourcing 
  • Actively seek improvements such as sustainable product innovations and R&D opportunities in collaboration with BL, Sourcing and Suppliers 
  • Ensure that sustainability is incorporated to supplier selection, and evaluates existing or potential supplier sustainability capabilities and identify synergies to utilize supply base more efficiently across SVS BA
  • Identify sustainable supply chain improvements for environmental protection beyond energy and GHG emissions. 
  • Support sourcing teams in creating responsible supply base
  • Participate in global quality and sourcing network and share learnings and best practices among stakeholders
  • Acts as change ambassadors in the sustainability journey of Services BA supply base

Who you are:
  • Minimum bachelor's degree in industrial management or technical degree (or equivalent experience) 
  • 5+ years of work experience in Supplier Development & Quality or other applicable experience
  • Good understanding of sustainability and energy efficiency topics (e.g. GHG calculations), ability to train suppliers related to these topics
  • Understanding of production processes and industrial requirements/standards (Quality management and manufacturing engineering background seen as an advantage)
  • Ability to conduct energy audits seen as an advantage
  • Ability to manage change, influence, motivate, and enable others to contribute to the success of a global company 
  • Ability to work and collaborate effectively and proactively in a matrix organization, strong networking and stakeholder management skills 
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills paired with an excellent command of the English language
  • Drive for results, flexibility and adaptability to changing business conditions and needs
