Mölnlycke is now hiring a new Process Development Manager to our Process Engineering team, this position will be placed at the Mikkeli factory in Finland. In this role, you will be a key player when we are extending the organization to support the factory future growth. Working closely with the global process engineering team and share best practice within Wound Care factories area, ensure that our production is up to standards from a technical perspective and production is running efficiently.

As a Process Development Manager, your core responsibility will be to;
Lead local and global technical and post-launch projects in accordance with design control.
Support and implement new and improved machine process solutions to meet customer needs in accordance with the business strategy.
Manage the ramp-up of new and improved machine process solutions.
Interact with production, product/material development and Process Development.
Some of your tasks will include:
Document project results, technical specifications and risk management records in accordance with Mölnlycke standards to ensure that the demands on documentation from external and internal stakeholders are fulfilled.
Specify process improvements and implement new or improved process solutions within the wound management area.
Participate in cross functional projects and line activities to develop and implement new or improved process solutions.
Guide in process risk management issues.
Continuously search for and propose new process solutions. If possible, protect inventions by patent applications to strengthen our competitive position.
Create and maintain contacts with suppliers of materials/technology in order to ensure best available input to develop technical solutions.
Participate in prototype to full scale production trial runs and validation activities to support the Design for Manufacturing process. 
Participate in R&D Competence Groups in order to develop and increase knowledge within defined competence areas. Educate colleagues.
What you’ll need
 Academic background in Engineering (bachelor’s or master’s degree) or corresponding experience                                          
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
English and Finnish language skills
High ambition to develop yourself
We see it as beneficial if you have experience from:
Six sigma methodology or similar techniques and tools for process improvement.
Project management/leadership experience
Process design and/or experience from a similar role
