We are looking for a Head of Continental DM Procurement, Europe to join our dynamic team at KONE Procurement, Europe.
The Head of Continental DM Procurement, Europe is responsible for procurement activities in Europe and the local unit in close collaboration and alignment with procurement Category Managers. In this role you get to drive implementation of sourcing category plans in Europe and its local units as well as continental supplier selection, negotiation and management in alignment with KONE sourcing practices and procedures.

Responsibilities and Key Activities:
- Ensure execution of KONE Procurement strategy and targets in continental level
- Ensure timely, quality and cost competitive supply for the continent
- Understand continent and unit business requirements and ensure timely inclusion to category plans
- Manage continental and unit stakeholders and their expectations
- Drive local and support regional/global supply market analysis
- Implement and support sourcing category plans in the continent and in its units
- Collaborate with Global category management and enabling functions as required
- Develop and execute continental and unit sourcing plans in alignment with category sourcing plans
- Lead continental supplier negotiations and act as the contract owner for nominated contracts
- Support, follow-up and manage supplier risk assessment from continental point of view
- Ensure compliance and adherence to KONE procurement (KPO) policies and procedures
- Manage sourcing budget within the continent and its units
- Define Supplier development and roadmap planning together with Category managers
- Lead, coach, involve and develop unit procurement team members, regional procurement category managers and operational purchasing team, ensure proper level of training, act to mitigate identified gaps on competences
Requirements for the role:
- M.Sc. in relevant academic field
- Minimum 15 years of experience in sourcing, supply chain management, preferably from a technical matrix organization. Related category experience is an asset.
- Analytical and strategic thinking, change management skills
- Strong negotiation skills, understanding strategic sourcing process is an asset
- Capability to work effectively and drive change in a matrix environment with our business and cross-functional teams
- A team player attitude and strong performance under pressure
- Proven leadership- and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage projects independently and work with other business functions
- Clear communication skills, fluent in both Scandinavian and English language
- Willingness to travel
