Head of People Flow Planning
for KONE NBS Major Projects and Escalator business line.
In this role you will inspire and manage a team of People Flow Planning experts while actively engaging in early project discussions with KONE frontline units and customers. The role extends beyond internal operations, building relationships with industry experts, vertical transportation consultants, and customers globally.
KONE Major Projects and escalators is the global business unit within KONE specialized for most demanding and ambitious customer projects around the world.

- Leads and inspires a team of People Flow Planning experts within the KONE Global Major Projects organization.
- Brings global expertise and actively participating in early engagement for targeted and aspirational major projects for KONE country units and customers
- Builds strong relationships and networks internally and with other industry experts, vertical transportation (VT) consultants, and customers.
- Manages People Flow Planning competencies and networks within KONE country units and areas.
- Organizes and participates in People Flow Planning training sessions, contributing to the creation of training materials.
- Drives thought leadership by actively networking with industry experts, customers, and contributing to publications such as academic journals or conference proceedings.
- Represents KONE in external forums, including codes and standards bodies, trade associations, conferences, and partner ecosystems.
- Holds accountability for the People Flow performance of the solution, ensuring the correctness of the analysis.
- Acts as a business stakeholder towards KONE Technology and Innovation Unit for People Flow Planning-related offerings.
- BSc, MSc, PhD in a related field (e.g., Engineering, Business, Urban Planning)
- Proven experience in vertical transportation planning, ideally within the elevator or vertical transportation, real estate, or construction industry
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of successfully managing and developing high-performing teams
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis tools and/or mathematics
- Strong presentation skills, ability, and confidence to communicate with senior executives and larger audiences
- Ability to communicate and share knowledge and experience
- Business mindset, understands the elevator, real estate or construction industry business environment, KPIs and success factors
- Demonstrated track record of achievements from previous positions held
- Good value creation, selling, marketing, and networking skills
- Ambition to continuously learn new and grow professionally at KONE
- Willingness and ability to do customer-centric problem solving, and co-creation with customers and partners
