What you will do
- As a part of Group HR Rewards team and Global Rewards Network you will design, develop and manage UPM total rewards policies, practices, processes and initiatives globally and in defined European countries
- You will prepare analytical people insights and recommendations on key rewards measures and concepts to support decision-making
- You will provide expertise, guidance and training to global UPM HR organization, managers, employees and other stakeholders on rewards matters
- You will follow rewards trends, regulation, insights and opportunities externally and contribute to designing competitive and fair proposals for rewards concepts and processes
- You will partner with global and local vendors to ensure high-quality service delivery on rewards matters
- You will collaborate with UPM Finance, Legal, Tax, Payroll and other internal stakeholders on a global, regional and country level to ensure effective and consistent implementation of rewards matters
- You will work closely with the dedicated Rewards team in HR Service Center to implement rewards practices and processes
- You will develop rewards-related functionality and analytical capabilities in Workday system in collaboration with HR Systems, Services and Solutions -Team
- The role of the Manager, Rewards will be further defined according to the competencies, experience and interest of the person selected for the position
Who you are
- You have a Master's degree in relevant field
- You have proven experience in the area of rewards from a global organisation
- You have data driven approach, strong analytical skills and you are attentive to numbers and proficient in Excel and other analytics tools. You have ability to interpret data and prepare insights for concept design and decision-making
- You have experience with Workday or equivalent HRIS system
- You have project management skills and experience
- You have the ability to work independently in agile manner with details and tight schedules
- You have strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels in the organisation
- You have high integrity and trustworthiness
- You have curiosity for learning and ability to challenge, renew and drive for change with courage
- You can operate both on a strategic and operational level. Proactive, creative, consultative, collaborative and business-focused approach are important attributes for you to succeed
- You have excellent proficiency in written and spoken Finnish and English language - other languages are an asset
