We are now looking for a Data ManagementTrainee to join our Project Finance team. Join us - and let's make an impact together!
With us you get to focus on supporting our team and project members with versatile finance and Data Management topics. You handle projects' financial matters during the project's life cycle and play a vital role in supporting our archival operations and contributing to the effective management of data and records. You work closely with our Project Finance team to learn and contribute to data handling, data cleansing and archiving process. the
Our team ensures appropriate support for financial management of publicly funded and customer projects. We operate in three sub teams, where responsibilities range from EU projects to public funding such as ministry or Business Finland funding, and finally commercially funded projects done in cooperation with industrial players in technology.
This hands-on trainee opportunity will provide you with a lot of freedom to develop and test Data Management best practices and to create a new, improved model that all of our teams would start utilising. If you get excited about GDPR and confidentiality matters, and at the same time want to get your hands dirty with organizing and archiving the information that should not be stored, this is the right position for you!
The traineeship duration is altogether 4-6 months with ideal starting date in April-May. Bachelor's-students monthly salary is between 2100€ and 2400€ and is based on study credits.
What would your responsibilities as a Trainee include?

  Learn, apply and establish processes for data storage, cleansing and disposal
  
• 
  Collaborating with team members to ensure accuracy and completeness of archival data
  
• 
  Assisting in categorization of archival materials
  
• 
  Supporting the development and implementation of quality control measures
  
• 
  Setting up and maintaining the project data in the systems
  
• 
  Overall support in financial and administrative matters
  

Who we are looking for:
We are looking for an enthusiastic colleague with can-do attitude and service-mindset. You might have already gathered some experience in the field of Data Management and/or finance, but your attitude and ability to learn new things count for much more than previous experience. In your studies you are preferably close to graduation. Your background might be e.g. Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus area in legal, data processing or similar studies. You carry out tasks in a persistent and precise way. We are looking for a person who is proactive, enjoys versatile tasks and can adapt to a changing work environment. In addition, you have good interpersonal and communication skills, both in Finnish and English.
