We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced security professional with expertise in end-user computing, networks, and hybrid- and public cloud platforms (IaaS) to join our team as a Manager of infrastructure Security. In this role, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our IT infrastructure and cloud platforms, ensuring the highest level of security and compliance. You will also work closely with both internal and external stakeholders in Metso Group. You will also work closely with vendors, partners, and business lines.
As security is at the core of all our development, this position will take ownership of security best practices and keep the platform secure. We appreciate that you may have hands-on experience in this role. You lead in the design and live the building and implementation with our team of engineers and partners.
This position is mainly located in Espoo, but we are happy to offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options.
What you'll do
These include, but are not limited to:
- Design, plan and oversee the comprehensive security for IT infrastructure and Cloud platform-services.
- Ensure IT infrastructure -services security follows Metso's security directives and policies.
- Provide technical expertise on security architecture, solutions, and controls for IT infrastructure and Cloud -services.
- Lead and support infrastructure teams in vulnerability management, risk analysis, and remediation plan development.
- Collaborate with teams to enhance business continuity plans by incorporating robust security practices.
- Support IT infrastructure teams to raise awareness and knowledge of security.
- Evaluate and manage relationships with security vendors, ensuring alignment with organizational security goals and compliance requirements.
Who you are
- Proven experience in information security, encompassing end-user computing, network security, Infrastructure Security, and cloud services (particularly Azure and Defender portfolio).
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to influence and motivate others to adopt and implement security best practices.
- At least 5-8 years' experience in various security roles.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid understanding of infrastructure and cloud security risks, with a proven ability to manage them effectively.
- Familiarity with ITIL and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) is a plus.
- Possessing relevant security certification(s) is a benefit.
You are a motivated, responsible, and self-directed person. You naturally take things forward actively and are not afraid to bring up your opinions or ideas. You have a proactive workstyle, and you can work under pressure. You are a team player with excellent communication skills. Full working proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is a must.
