We are looking for
HR DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
to join our HR team in Espoo.
As HR Development Manager you will develop Metsä Group's leaders and our talents from various fields to succeed. Together with your HR colleagues you will develop our practices and methods globally and run programs in our Leadership Academy. You will report to VP HR, Recruitment and HR Development.

Your role consists of three main responsibility areas:
- Developing our leadership competencies and DEI further. You will develop company's leadership capabilities and related methodologies. Diversity, equity and inclusion are in the core of your development work and you want to participate in developing them further in our organization. You ensure unified way of working across our businesses and regions and support HR network in global roll-out and deployment of our leadership development activities, tools, and methods.
- Leadership Academy. You have responsibility for developing and running nominated leadership programs with the aim to ensure that their quality and impact meet the set standards. To succeed, you actively interact and spar with the management, develop the content in cooperation with HR, internal stakeholders and our external partners.
- Talent development and lifewide learning. You will support our people review process and develop our organization's capabilities which includes tools and methodologies such as job rotation. You identify competence development needs and find solutions to develop our potentials and various talents further.

To succeed in this position, a true interest in developing people and organizations is an imperative. In addition to your solid leadership and talent development track record, you also have a broad understanding of learning principles, competence development and related methodologies. You have a strong strive for results combined with excellent communication and cooperation skills. Since you have global responsibilities, you are fluent in English. Knowing Finnish language is an asset.
