Job Description:
Saab Inc.'s Surveillance Systems division is seeking a dynamic, results-oriented individual to fill the role of a Program Manager (PM) within the Naval Radar Product Team (NRPT). The successful candidate will use professional concepts and apply demonstrated knowledge of program/project management principles and concepts to resolve a variety of issues. To be successful in this role you must demonstrateexpertise across a range of program management, process improvement, project management, and leadership skills.
Responsibilities will include but may not be limited to the following:
Create and manage product development and sustainment roadmaps through coordination with programs and customer service, both internal & external.
Lead or represent the Naval Radar Product Team in various parts of the Configuration Management (CM) process, including Problem Review Boards (PRBs) and Configuration Control Boards (CCBs).
Consolidate input and generate recommendations to support product obsolescence management and lifecycle sustainment initiatives.
Support development and management of a Naval product baseline, including associated Bills of Material (BOMs) and System Requirements Document (SRDs) at a system, subsystem, and Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) level.
Interface with Naval Delivery & Support, Naval Development, Contracts, Finance, CM, QA, and Supply Chain organizations across multiple Saab sites, including international locations.
Establish the manufacturing resource requirements, including quantity and skill of personnel, tooling, test equipment, and support systems (i.e. material and factory planning/control systems) for the Naval product line.
Represent the interests of the Naval Radar Product Team (NRPT) with outside vendors, including setting technical requirements, reviewing statements of work (SOWs), and ensuring compliance with cost and schedule objectives.
Plan, coordinate, and conduct team meetings.
Compensation Range: $94,800-$120,900

Skills and Experience:
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering, Business, or related discipline with 8+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 6+ years of experience.
Required Skills
Knowledge of Military Logistics/Maintenance Principals (Naval preferred).
Experience working in a team environment.
Experience with a formal Configuration Management (CM) process (DOD/Government preferred).
Highly organized, ability to multi-task, strong time management skills, and ability to follow-up on action items and requests in a timely manner.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, decentralized environment.
Self-motivated, results-oriented, enthusiastic, strong work ethic.
Constant desire to learn.
Ability to drive and influence cross functional teams without direct authority.
Desired Skills
Understanding of DOD acquisition process.
Experience with DOD logistics systems and principles.
Proficient in Microsoft office products (Word, Visio, Excel, Project, PowerPoint).
Experience using JIRA software.
Comfortable working with various levels of people in the organization.
