The Data Center Delivery and Engineering (DCDE) team is a collection of Civils, Structure, Architecture (CSA), and Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP) design experts, mechanical and electrical field engineers, construction project managers, water/air experts, commissioning experts,Data Center services managers, and cost and project controls managers who design, schedule, construct, commission, and close out some of the most efficient Data Centers in the world, at a fast pace, safely, and in a scalable manner to match the business requirements. We are responsible for delivering the technical infrastructure that powers Google globally.

- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Candidates will typically have 5 years of experience in program management.
- Experience with construction project management.
- Experience with commercial contract management and procurement.
- Candidates will typically have 10 years of experience in commodity management or supply chain management in the Data Center/mission critical, energy, or construction industry.
- Experience in vendor operations management or overseeing vendor operations programs.
- Solid understanding of electrical and mechanical systems in a Data Center environment.

- Manage a large, site-wide Data Center Construction and delivery organization, managing scopes related to construction projects and/or capital improvement projects.
- Be responsible for ensuring the development of detailed designs, managing construction (e.g., delivery, cost, quality, and EHS), commissioning, close-out, and hand-off to the operations team. Ensure all customer requirements are being met.
- Establish and maintain various delivery models and global relationships with multiple vendors.
- Create a growth plan and be involved in hiring/recruiting of talent in the areas of project management, field engineering, document control, technical writing, etc.
- Research and implement construction means and methods of Data Center equipment and facilities. Carry design concepts into mass production and integrate into facilities.
