We are now looking for a
Logistics & Procurement Manager (F-35 Program)
to join our F135 Engine Assembly project. Project team is standing-up the new assembly and manufacturing factory in collaboration with the Engine manufacturer (OEM). New manufacturing establishment requires new machinery, equipment, production tools, furnishment, materials and consumables. In addition of that the logistics processes and solutions need to be planned and built-up for continues factory operation. Your contribution will start with procurement activities but overtime it will move more towards for logistics management.
In this role, you will be responsible for the project procurement (capital equipment; strategic sourcing excluded), planning and building-up logistics capability into the new factory.
The logistics includes planning and implementing processes for inbound and outbound logistics with all details like inventory and material handling solutions, shipping and customs practices and export control practices. You define and implement processes for internal factory logistics, work cell storages and staging, in cooperation with the production industrialization function.
You work in close collaboration with the Project team, Patria's Supply Chain organization and the Engine manufacturer.
Your working place is first in Tampere but later in Nokia Linnavuori.

You are a good team player, having good negotiating skills and both technical and financial view making procurement and logistics solutions.

- University degree in appropriate area.
Furthermore, it is beneficial if you have:
- Knowledge of aerospace industry and manufacturing processes
- Knowledge of export control procedures.
