Product Manager, Software Licensing & Monetization

We seek an experienced Product Manager, Software Licensing & Monetization to join Qt's Product Management team. The ideal person will have a strong background in software license creation, provisioning, and management in product organizations and experience in managing complex license management deployment projects from start to finish.
In this role, you will operate with multiple types of projects and processes e.g., software product development, system implementations, integrations, GTM, and other Product Management processes, which keep the role interesting and pertain to growth opportunities.
You will:

• Work as a coach on pricing and monetization models for the Product Management organization
• and manage license migration projects, and improve monetization of the Qt Company assets
• Lead cross-functional teams
• Ensure that the license management projects are completed on time and within budget
• Identify and mitigate project risks
• Actively communicate project status to stakeholders
• Manage project scope and change requests
• Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards
• Contribute to the development of Project Management practices and tools

About You:
You have hands-on experience with various licensing/business models and have been developing and pursuing new revenue-generation opportunities based on licensing models that fit market demands. You will lead cross-functional teams, develop project plans, and ensure that the license management function is taken into a new level of capacity at the Qt Company.

• 5+ years of experience in software license life-cycle management
• Experience in managing projects using Agile methodologies (certificates are an advantage)
• Experience of deploying and operating any commercial license management solutions (like Renevera, FlexNet Operations, Thales, Snow, etc)
• Ability to acquire and manage external vendors as part of a project team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English, since it's our company language (Finnish and/or German are considered a plus)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Experience working in Product Management or as a Product Owner is considered a plus
