Business Manager For Cooking Products, Helsinki, Fixed Term

Valio Cooking business category has an open position for a fixed term Business Manager in Helsinki. (parental leave until January 2025) 
Your main responsibility is to manage and develop the cooking business category according to the category’s and Valio’s strategic goals. 
To succeed in this role, you need to be business-oriented, innovative, and self-driven and have a passion for food products, cooking and/or baking. You should have the ability to independently identify and pursue plans and actions in line with category plans and targets. Previous experience in business management is required. You know how to take the lead and manage projects in cross-category and functional teams. 
Your responsibilities include:

• Manage and develop the cooking business in a results-driven way
• Create and execute Valio cooking category business plans
• Identify and develop future business opportunities in your portfolio
• Lead NPD projects and work closely with both internal as well as external stakeholders 

Requirements:

• Strategic, business-oriented thinking and analytical skills
• Successful track record in leading and developing business cases
• Previous experience in product concept development
• Experience in project management of cross-functional teams
• Growth-driven mentality, result oriented, self-driven
• Open-minded and creative mindset, ability to think outside the box
• Can-do-attitude, resilient and ability to work under pressure
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and inspire others
• Excellent communication and language skills: fluent Finnish and English
• Relevant academic background and proven track record from a similar position
