Energy Warranty within Energy Service is looking for Product Warranty Manager, Auxiliary to the Energy Warranty Services central team in Vaasa, Finland.

Energy Warranty Service (EWS) will take the responsibility for warranty handling of complete Energy scope of supply. This is to be in line with the Energy Business strategy, in closer collaboration with Energy Customers and in understanding of the energy transition. Now Energy Warranty Services is looking for a Product Warranty Manager, Auxiliary to warranty handling of complete Energy scope of supply.

In this role You will ensure trouble free operations of Wärtsilä supplied equipment by improving the product performance trough corrective and preventive actions. Support the operative warranty teams globally with claim resolution for more complex claims by giving technical support. You will also actively participate in auxiliary product improvement process in cooperation with Product Improvement Teams (PIT) and Energy Technology Teams in order to initiate corrective actions.

Responsibilities:

  • Support area teams with technical advice/solutions
  • Actively participate in product improvement process in cooperation with Product Improvement Teams (PIT) in order to initiate corrective actions
  • Collect and compile warranty data/information and this way receive product performance feedback
  • Initiate preventive actions based on service bulletins and other available feedback or failure data findings
  • Actively sharing of information with warranty administration team in order to increase the awareness of repeated technical issues
  • Supporting Area Warranty Manager with temporary solutions

Requirements:

  • M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Mechanical or similar education
  • Strong knowledge of auxiliary equipment and systems
  • Technical understanding and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in warranty claim handling
  • Experience in customer interaction
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Teamwork skills and cultural knowledge
  • Motivation to learn and grow professionally
  • Experience in successful collaboration with key stakeholders
  • Understanding of the customers’ business
  • Fluent written and spoken English
