Corporate M&A And Business Analyst

About the role

We are now looking for a new talent with 2-3 years’ work experience for a permanent employment relationship to assist the CEO of Nurminen Logistics in implementing M&A strategy and Business efficiency analytics processes.

You will work closely with our CEO, CFO and Business heads with an active role in Nurminen Logistics’ M&A projects as well as with business analytics in the Company. Your primary focus area will be in analyzing and modelling M&A opportunities and you will also have the chance to participate in managing projects. Another important task is to create monitoring systems to analyze our efficiency, which is essential to understand the principles of the industry and the market.

You will help steering due diligence processes in close co-operation with the rest of the project teams, business units and external advisors. In this position, you will manage transactions and build an understanding of the industrial logic of capital in domestic and international logistics and rail business.

You will be working in our head office in Vuosaari, Helsinki.

About you

 We are looking for a candidate with:

• Ability to analytically convert complex problems and structures to a tangible financial valuation.
• Excellent project management and presentation skills.
• Outstanding teamwork skills and ability to take responsibility in demanding tasks.
• Curiosity and desire to develop. 
• Willingness to travel and work flexibly.

To be successful in this position you need to have:

• A master’s degree with excellent grade in Economics or Engineering, preferably in finance, systems analysis, or industrial economics.
• Preferably a few years of experience in company analysis and financial modeling.
• Fluency in English. Knowledge of other languages, particularly Finnish and Swedish, is considered an advantage.
