BUSINESS ANALYSTS / SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYSTS (Commercial & CX)
to join Finnair's CCX Data & Analytics team.
The CCX Data and Analytics team is an international and experienced team of Data Engineers, Data Scientists, BI Developers, and Business Analysts supporting Finnair'sCommercial and Customer Experience (CCX) business unit.As a member of the team, you will get to work with a wide array of commercial aviation data and take responsibility for the development and maintenance of BI solutions and dashboards,data output, and in-depth analysis.The CCX Data and Analytics team is growing,and now is a great time to join the team!
As our Business Analyst / Senior Business Analyst you will get to:
Develop, maintain, and execute the Data and Analytics strategy, practices, and activities, supporting the overall company strategy.
Pro-actively create ideas for utilizing analytics to improve business performance.
Providestrategic decision support to management as well as guide tactical analytics within the organization.
Work closely together with a wide group ofdata professionals and business stakeholders.
Collect and translate business requirements into coherent dashboards and reports.
Ensure the availability, accuracy, and relevance of data and analyses, and complete ad-hoc reporting and analyses where needed.
To succeed as our Business Analyst/ Senior Business Analyst,an ideal candidate will have:
Analytical, business minded, and a proactive working style.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Capacity to translate data into useful business conclusions and recommendations.
Advanced SQL skills and working experience in an enterprise environment.
Experience in working with data warehouses i.e., Snowflake and Oracle DWH
Experience in Power BIdevelopment (PBI desktop, PBI service, DAX, data modelling, performance optimization, etc.)
Working experience withPython, R, or otherprogramming languages used in data analytics.
Proven track record of outstanding quality output and added value.
Relevant master's degree / PhD (e.g., business, engineering, analytics)
Hands-on experience working with commercial and/or customer data is seen as an advantage.
Experience with Google Analytics and BigQuery is seen as an advantage.
