Senior Business Analyst
In your role, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our operations run smoothly, making a substantial contribution to Finnair's success. As a Senior Business Analyst, you are tasked with developing and overseeing reproducible, scalable and robust analytical capabilities, along with managing Business Intelligence operations. Your efforts in delivering analytical insights will be vital in guiding fact-based decision-making throughout the organization.
Your responsibilities:
Execute and maintain the BI & Analytics strategy in alignment with the company's overarching goals.
Build and oversee an analytics platform to enable strategic, data-driven decision-making.
Establish standardized templates for streamlined reporting and analysis, while actively engaging with stakeholders.
Provide strategic decision support and tactical analytics guidance across the organization.
Translate business requirements into clear dashboards and reports.
Create and manage data models designed for reporting functions.
Ensure the development and maintenance of scalable dashboards and reports, focusing on stakeholder value and business needs.
Maintain the integrity, reliability, and relevance of data and analyses.
Systematically document analytical processes, dashboards, and reports.
Resolve issues related to dashboards and reports, ensuring continuous improvement.
Conduct data and application testing to uphold quality standards.
Offer mentorship to other analysts, fostering a culture of knowledge-sharing and continuous learning.
Uphold Finnair's standards for data security, privacy, and ethics in all analytical outputs.

Proven experience in a data-centric role within an analytics-driven environment.

Extensive experience in managing and maintaining Power BI environments.
Proficiency in Python and SQL to conduct independent, comprehensive analyses.

Competence in distilling intricate data and trends into actionable insights.
