We are looking for a SeniorBusiness Intelligence Analyst to join our Business Intelligence and Information Management team in Helsinki. You will be joining a growing team turning data into insights for the whole of RELEX, supporting our rapid growth across the globe.
As a Senior BI Analyst, you will collaborate with our entire organization to ensure that core business initiatives are supported by high-quality data. Your contributions are integral to building capabilities to produce accurate and timely business decisions by supporting self-service data use. You will actively develop our ways of working, both within our central BI team as well as the collaboration with and between internal business stakeholders.
What you’ll be doing
- Transforming internal stakeholders’ business needs into practical implementations in Power BI
- Identifying, planning for and leading Power BI platform development projects
- Working closely with community BI developers to e.g. foster collaboration, improve training, establish best practices and improve the quality and integrity of data solutions
- Designing roles and responsibilities for centrally supported self-service BI
- Participating in and developing data governance and information management processes
What you’ll bring to the table
- Suitable education, e.g. master’s degree in Engineering or Business
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in BI
- Strong analytical skills, proactivity and willingness to learn
- Excellent skills with PowerBI (or similar tools), data modeling and SQL
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Fluent English skills
What we consider as an advantage
- Experience establishing self-service BI practices in an organization
- Experience in training, coaching, or mentoring
- Experience in producing supporting materials for different stakeholders
- Experience with dbt and git, data warehousing
- Experience in one or more programming languages
