Business Analyst
In your role, you will be instrumental in ensuring smooth operations, thereby making a significant contribution to Finnair's success. As a Business Analyst, you will be tasked with delivering analytical insights that are crucial for guiding fact-based decision-making throughout the organization.
Your responsibilities:
Contribute to the BI & Analytics strategy, ensuring it aligns with the company's goals.
Participate in the development and operation of an analytics platform to support data-driven decision-making.
Use standardized templates for reporting and analysis, maintaining engagement with stakeholders.
Provide analytical support to assist with strategic decision-making across the organization.
Translate business requirements into clear dashboards and reports.
Assist in creating and managing data models for reporting functions.
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports, addressing stakeholder value and business needs.
Help ensure the integrity, reliability, and relevance of data and analyses.
Document analytical processes, dashboards, and reports.
Address and troubleshoot issues with dashboards and reports.
Support data and application testing to ensure quality standards.
Uphold Finnair's data security, privacy, and ethics standards in analytical outputs.
Our expectations:
Minimum 2 years of experience in a data-centric role within an analytics-intensive environment.
Experience with Power BI for managing reporting environments.
Preferable familiarity with Python and SQL for detailed analysis tasks.
Ability to convert business needs into analytical specifications.
Effective communication skills for articulating complex data concepts to technical teams and business stakeholders.
Ability to synthesize complex data and trends into useful insights.
Skills in business intelligence, analytics, and reporting.
Analytical mindset with strong numerical skills.
Collaborative team member with effective communication and project management capabilities.
