Who we are
Coolblue is one of the largest and most customer-friendly online retailers in the Netherlands and Belgium, and we're also active in Germany. We have a wide range, from telephones to laptops and from washing machines to fridges. Our own delivery service delivers packages in our vans or electric bikes. We also have an installation service and customer service. With 6300 Coolbluers, we work hard every day to make customers happy. For example, we give expert advice and deliver your package to your home the next day.

At Coolblue we don’t outsource our solutions if they provide us with a competitive advantage. Therefore, we keep all of our important processes in-house. We build and design our website ourselves. Just like all our software and systems. As a developer at Coolblue, you make the code, the process, and the designs a little better every day. You also think about challenges that have a major impact on Coolblue and our customers. For example, optimizing the stock or offering the most accurate delivery times.
We work in Scrum teams to ensure constant feedback and improvement and we aim to deliver new improvements daily.

As a Team Lead Front-End React you will bring a smile to the faces of our customers by delivering great software and building an effective team. - Building and leading a team of both Front-End and Back-End developers that excels in providing high-quality and cost effective software
- Support team members in defining their personal growth goals and with the approach to achieve them
- Review code, promote best practices and maintain a high level of craftsmanship and a pragmatic culture
- Coach team members and provide continuous feedback to help them get a little better every day
Your qualification
- You have over 5 years of experience with React and/or Vanilla JavaScript
- You have over 2 years of experience with giving feedback, motivating and coaching developers with their technical and soft skills
- Scrum/Agile comes naturally to you
- Experience with HTML and CSS/SCSS
- Experience in a Back-End language such as C# is a bonus
- You're capable of solving problems by using accepted best practices and principles like TDD/BDD, SOLID, and design patterns
