Product Owner

We are looking for Product Owner to join Sanoma B2B's Performance Products Team. We focus in building new digital advertising products and solutions that will help our B2B customers to get measurable marketing results.
We do this by building new data sources to measure performance of our advertising products and by optimizing towards those results using ML and AI based solutions. Your role will be important in driving and executing this strategic focus are of Sanoma Media Finland B2B unit.
The perfect candidate will be someone with passion and drive to build great data driven products with strong problem-solving skills, interest in data and analytics, and relevant experience in either building data-based products, or from marketing and advertising.
We expect you to

• Lead the day-to-day product development work of the team.
• Create backlogs and user stories based on business needs and expectations.
• Document and groom Jira tickets together with developers.
• Lead selected projects independently from business ideation to end-to-end delivery.
• Facilitate the work of our Data Engineers, Data Scientist and other Developers to maximize the output we can create while looking after their wellbeing.
• Analyze data of our products to evaluate KPIs and ways to improve.
• Communicate with other teams and stakeholders to help drive the development of Performance Products.
• Develop our way of working with colleagues and stakeholders.

What will help you to succeed

• Prior experience managing software development projects as Product Owner or in similar role in agile environment.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Problem solving skills and data driven mindset.
• You should be comfortable on analyzing numbers and graphs to identify problems and opportunities for improvement..
• Great communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• We work in multi-cultural environment so good level English skills are needed. Finnish skills are advantage but not a requirement.
• Passion and ambition to build something great.

Additional Valuable Assets:

• Background in Ad Tech, digital advertising, and performance marketing.
• Experience in building ML products or familiarity with MLOps will be highly regarded.
• Experience with analytics tools, and data visualization platforms.
• Familiarity with AWS.
