About the role
We are looking for a Senior Manager, Order-to-Cash (O2C) Development to join Fortum’s Financial and Operational Procurement Services. You will be responsible for leading the development of the full end-to-end O2C process and systems scope, and you will lead a team of process experts. Together with Finance Development, and in collaboration with the business and function stakeholders, you will manage our O2C development roadmap, and be a key person to drive the most important improvement actions forward.
Your key responsibilities include, e.g.:
- Driving a seamless end-to-end process design and implementation to improve our efficiency, systems landscape, customer experience and compliance
- Working together with our business and finance stakeholders to ensure the processes are adopted, and they are efficient and aligned with the required standards
- Assessing and driving the selection and implementation of new technologies and solutions
- Ensuring data quality, operational transparency and continuous improvement in our processes
- Ensuring leadership, balanced resourcing and systematic competence development in your team
- Contributing to group-level development projects touching the O2C area
- Managing communication and collaboration amongst cross-functional stakeholders such as IT, Finance teams (e.g. tax, business control), Sustainability, Privacy and Compliance for end-to-end process approach
- Networking and seeking best practices and opportunities for process improvement.

We offer you an exciting role, challenging tasks and an opportunity to develop our global end-to-end process and in this role, you will work very closely with our Finance Development team. You will be part of O2C leadership team and contribute to the O2C area roadmap, annual plans and KPIs. This includes high opportunities to make an impact – so you will be in a visible and important role in our function.
We are looking for a new team member in Espoo, but we work flexibly in a hybrid model that adapts to both your professional and personal needs. The position includes some travelling.
About you
You have a suitable Master's degree or equivalent competencies in e.g. economics or technology, and at least 5-7 years of working experience in a relevant field (e.g. consulting, finance, accounting, or end-to-end process development).
You have experience of leading people in a manager role or similar (e.g. leading in matrix or customer projects). You are able to define a long-term vision of success, and break it down to action level. You have a proven track record of driving process improvements in the O2C area including change management with multiple stakeholders. Being in a key role in a transformation project is appreciated highly.
You have strong influencing skills, and you can communicate at all levels in the organization. You are a self-driven person with strong analytical skills and end-to-end process thinking, and you seek best practices and opportunities for improvement. You are competent and interested in working with corporate IT systems and proficient with Excel and Power Point. Any experience in O2C systems would be an asset.
