EY’s Financial Services Risk Consulting team in Helsinki is recruiting a Manager and/or a Senior Manager with strong experience in Financial Crime management in the financial sector e.g. in banking or insurance sector.
We are looking for someone who may have worked in e.g. risk management or Financial Crime/anti-money laundering business support within one or more areas of Financial Crime (e.g. transaction monitoring, risk assessments, sanctions, fraud, bribery and corruption) and has strong knowledge of the regulations and its interpretation and technical skills related to the AML field. The candidate will benefit from having experience from a leading consulting firm and/or a bank and interactions with the financial sector supervisors.
Your key responsibilities
As a Manager, you will provide input into the development of innovative solutions to address complex Financial Crime risks and issues and take responsibility for engagement planning, management, and leading teams in a variety of Financial Crime engagements. As a Senior Manager, you take end to end responsibility for the mobilisation, delivery and benefits of large scale complex strategic programmes. You will work effectively as a team leader having the responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication, and updating engagement directors and partners on progress. You'll also build valuable relationships with external clients and internal peers.

To qualify for the role you must have

• For a Manager position you must have a minimum of +2 years managerial experience 
• For a Senior Manager position you must have a minimum of +5 years managerial experience 
• Experience of leading teams, managing projects and working with others to deliver Financial Crime engagements
• Functional knowledge of the local and European Financial Crime regulatory environment 
• Sound technical knowledge of Financial Services businesses and products
• Strong academic background to a degree level or equivalent
• Finnish and English speaking, other languages are considered as an advantage
