EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT

to handle various tasks related to the company's administration.

What to expect in Metsä?

Your tasks will vary from taking care of typical daily administrative tasks, ranging from, for instance, arranging meetings, travel bookings, as well as managing the Metsä Spring email account and homepage, to participating in specific development projects from time to time. As a part of Metsä Group, most of the administrative systems and processes are already developed and you will always find support in such matters from our colleagues working within Metsä Group. Metsä Spring's work environment can be described as a mix of a large corporation and a startup. Some additional features include:

  • You will be working as part of a broad team of both internal and external experts.

You will report to the CEO of Metsä Spring (Niklas von Weymarn). The position is located in Espoo, Finland (i.e., Metsä Group's HQ located in Tapiola, Espoo). The role does not require travelling. Remote work from home is possible for a maximum of two days per week.

What do we expect from you?

  • We encourage you to participate, according to your abilities and interests, in various discussions and projects. Hence, the boundaries of the tasks of different team members are not very precisely defined. We always try to get the best team together for each specific task/project, depending on the situation.
  • Proactivity in developing Metsä Spring and ambition to grow as a professional with the company.
  • At least two years of work experience, after graduation, in a position that is relevant for the task at hand.
  • An ability to keep track of many things at the same time, keeping agreed time schedules, etc.
  • Good communication skills. You will be frequently in contact with both inhouse colleagues as well as with various external partners.
  • Fluent English language skills. Finnish language skills are considered useful but not mandatory.
  • Usual skills needed to apply modern office programs.
