About the role
We are looking for a Sustainability Analyst to join our renewed Corporate Sustainability team comprising of professionals dedicated to sustainable development. 

Key responsibilities of the role include;

  • Assisting in Fortum's sustainability reporting on environmental and climate issues
  • Play a key role in refining our GHG inventory and the SBTi submission process  
  • Compiling and visualizing data for CSRD reporting and / or decision purposes 
  • Ensuring data accuracy and consolidation principles
  • Supporting with presentations, analysis and other sustainability-related tasks

This is a full-time temporary position until the end of February 2025. We are looking for a new team member to join us preferably in Espoo, Finland, or Solna, Sweden. We work flexibly in a hybrid model that adapts to both your professional and personal needs. We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible. 

 

About you
The ideal candidate for this role is someone who has gained expertise in various aspects of sustainability and responsibility through their studies or previous work experience. You will compile reports from various data sources, ensuring data accuracy, and have the confidence to question information while understanding cause and effect relationships within the energy sector. While advanced spreadsheet skills are not required, proficiency in Excel will facilitate task completion.

To succeed in this role you have

  • Relevant educational background (e.g., business, economics, sustainability or statistics)
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Analytical, structured and curious approach to work
  • Excellent communication skills in English
