The D&L Architecture team are accountable for the architecture of the largest transformational programme in Nordea’s portfolio, the Core Banking Programme (CBP). CBP is a complex integration programme and D&L Architecture are in the driving seat to define the transition and target architecture for the platform.

About this opportunity
We are looking for a candidate to join D&L Architecture who has extensive experience in defining end-to-end Solution Architecture covering all aspects of architecture including data, integration and security. The candidate will define and ensure a comprehensive and coherent view across Business, Information, Systems and Technology. They go beyond designing IT systems to deliver business change, which may also be supported and enabled by IT.
What you’ll be doing:

• Be in one of the most interested and most important programs, - i.e. helping by making a new Nordic Ledger here in Nordea.
• Be accountable for developing transition and target architectures for D&L that provides explicit guidance and steering for initiatives in the context of Group Architecture target architecture visions.
• Collaborate with country account ledgers subject matter experts (SME) in creating IT roadmap's for the domain that defines each transition step towards a common target architecture. 
• Craft architectural blueprints to support coordinated realisation of multiple initiatives across the bank. It includes documenting and diagramming conceptual, logical and physical architectures across the viewpoints listed. 
• The candidate must also be able to articulate benefits and drawbacks of various design options and recommend solutions that deliver the most business value while limiting technical debt.
• Provide detailed solution design and architectural leadership that includes creation of content relating to business, application, process and technology architecture viewpoints.
• Collaborate with country account ledgers (SME) in gathering requirements, facilitating outcomes via conceptual design, technical design and implementation of the solution. In turn, providing architectural and technical leadership for D&L.
• In accordance to Group Architecture methodology you will be required to create architecture and technical artefacts such as target and transition architectures and High-Level Design (HLD) artefacts.

The role is based in Gdańsk; Gdynia; Helsinki; Høje Taastrup; Stockholm and we have a hybrid working model.

 Required Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years of related work experience in the areas of Core Banking, Digital and Assisted Channels, and Product Servicing.
• 5+ years’ experience with delivering architecture and solution design in a client-facing, consulting and/or delivery role, working in large transformation projects in areas of Core Banking in banking or financial services industries 
• 5+ years’ experience with Core Banking Software such as Temenos, SAP, InfoSys edgeverve, TCS or Oracle
• Demonstrated ability to drive development of target and transition architectures and to craft fit-for-purpose architecture content that provides explicit guidance for large and complex transformation initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience with integration technologies, methods and architecture patterns to support batch, real-time and near-real-time data integration to support operational lending, analytical and reporting use cases.
• Experience with mainframe and mainframe applications e.g. IBM, zOS and HP Non-stop 
• Experience in modernising integration landscape using traditional integration and messaging/streaming technologies such as IBM MQ, Kafka and Oracle Enterprise Service Bus. 
• Ability to communicate technical concepts in simple terms; must be comfortable presenting solution design concepts and guiding solution design discussions / sessions.
• Demonstrated experience working with agile methodology like SAFe.
