We are seeking a Project Manager to join our Services Global Logistics Operations team! Your role plays a crucial part in driving and implementing transformation in Global Logistics Operations. We in GLO are committed to the responsible use of the world's natural resources and providing employees opportunities to learn and try something new. In this position, you will report to Senior Manager, Project and Deployment Management.
This position is mainly located in Espoo (Finland), but we are happy to offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options.
Please note that this is a temporary contract of 18 months.
Team you belong to
You will join a team of dedicated professionals who work closely with different stakeholders, and you will provide a link between the GLO and other organizations within Metso. Our team culture is all about getting it done - together. The members in our team are located all around the world.
What you'll do
- Deploy of new processes and projects regionally within GLO on schedule
- Develop core business processes across GLO
- Identify and drive development actions to improve GLO functions and concepts.
- Understand the business requirements and define/design and implement improvements to processes, systems, or tools for GLO. You will also manage lessons learned.
- Define project objectives and take the lead in in the planning and execution of larger more complex projects.
- Be the Lead the liaison with the various support staff within GLO to coordinate and bring projects to fruition.
- Adhere to robust scope change management practices in delivering projects.
Who you are
- You have a proven track record of project deployment, and understanding of service business processes and results of active change management
- You are great at influencing, proactive and have an independent approach
- You are highly organized and have the skills to create plans, facilitate discussions and create business material and documentation.
- You can work across a multi-cultural environment and have excellent interpersonal skills and capabilities to build a network of experts.
- You can think strategically and adapt in changing environmentto transfer the knowledge and drive change initiatives.
- Previous service product development and service systems experience is an advantage
