We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Procurement Manager for Nordics to join our dynamic team at KONE Procurement.

As Procurement Manager, Nordics, you will lead and coach the team of Sourcing Specialists to reach the Procurement unit's targets and objectives. You will be accountable for all the sourcing and purchasing related activities in the unit including ensuring timely, quality and cost competitive supply. This is an amazing opportunity to take the sourcing unit to the next level, and with a strategic as well as tactical approach impact our way forward.

Responsibilities and Key Activities:

As Procurement Manager, Nordics, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising sourcing activities in the local unit in close collaboration and alignment with local business operations and Procurement Category Managers. This includes driving the implementation of global and area-based sourcing projects in the local units as well as local supplier selection, negotiation and management. You represent Procurement towards Scandinavia business stakeholder and coach other unit functions with smart spend optimization.
 

The role includes responsibility for regular reporting of sourcing unit KPI's and for local unit supplier relationship management. You will ensure compliance and adherence to KONE sourcing policies & procedures, quality, safety and environmental standards.
 

As a leader you are experienced and visionary with the ability to communicate with confidence and clarity. A leader who identifies and breaks down barriers to open communication. You encourage team members to share and implement their ideas and understand the value of cooperation between functions. For you it is important to keep yourself up to date on current developments in the industry and to always seek opportunities for improvement.

Requirements for the role:

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in relevant academic field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in sourcing, supply chain management, preferably from a technical matrix organization. Related category experience is an asset.
• Analytical and strategic thinking, change management skills.
• Strong negotiation skills, understanding strategic sourcing process is an asset.
• Capability to work effectively and drive change in a matrix environment with our business and cross-functional teams.
• A team player attitude and strong performance under pressure.
• Proven leadership- and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage projects independently and work with other business functions.
• Clear communication skills, fluent in both Scandinavian and English language.
• Willingness to travel.

The position is located in Helsinki, Finland or in Stockholm, Sweden. The preferred start would be in Q1/ early Q2 2024.
