Full Stack Developer, B2B Products

Are you a passionate and skilled Full Stack Developer with several years of experience in software development?
Join our team as a Full Stack Developer and be part of exciting projects that contribute to the advancement of digital health solutions. Terveystalo Digital Health is seeking a talented individual who excels in a fast-paced environment and possesses comprehensive knowledge of React, Typescript, Node.js and SQL databases.
We have development centers in Helsinki, Tampere, Jyväskylä, Kuopio and Oulu. However, most of the work will be done remotely from your own preferred location. Some of the projects require fluent Finnish but most projects don't - fluent English is enough.
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop high-quality software components and modules using front-end and back-end technologies that prioritize an exceptional user experience.
• Including analysis, design, implementation, and testing of platform-related features with a focus on both front-end and back-end development.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues and recommend improvements to the product architecture and user experience based on user feedback and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UX designers, to ensure the seamless integration of design and development processes.
• Mentor and support junior developers on the team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
• Willingness to act as a light Scrum Master, facilitating agile development processes and ceremonies.

As an ideal candidate you have:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or in a similar role, with a focus on both front-end and back-end development.
• You should have working experience with React, TypeScript and SQL databases.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker for building and deploying applications.
• Strong knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices.
• Understanding of UX design principles and the ability to apply them to software development.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently, as well as within a team environment.

It would be a bonus if you also have experience in these:

• Experience with Shell scripting.
• Familiarity with *nix systems and their command-line interfaces.
• Understanding of Nginx or other web server configurations and optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with Azure Cloud.
