About the role
We are on the lookout for a dedicated and proficient Data analyst to join our Digital Marketing team for a parental cover role. This role is pivotal in delivering insights and formulating data-driven strategies to enhance our Digital Marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will have a real passion for analytics, a keen eye for detail, an appetite for AI and the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
This is a temporary position with an estimated duration of approximately 1 year, located either in Helsinki or Oulu.

About the role

Key responsibilities:
- Set up web analytics reports and maintain reports based on stakeholders’ requirements (B2B and B2C focus).
- Follow up business KPIs for B2B prospects/leads, websites, marketing campaigns, MarTech & more.
- Identify trends, business analytics & -forecast, develop analytics processes, and visualize data.
- Provide insights, conduct analysis and give recommendations on actions within the online marketing team.
- You will connect and clean/transform different data sets using Google BigQuery and visualize the data in Looker studio (former Google Data Studio) or Tableau reports. Datasets may come from tools such as Google Analytics, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, data lake/pipeline, e-commerce tools and other marketing tools.
- Strong analytical and statistical skills and understanding of online marketing/B2C/ B2B/E-commerce.
- Some experience in working with similar tasks and a degree in a relevant field for the position, i.e., Digital Marketing, statistics, E-commerce.
- Experience in creating and running SQL queries to combine data from different sources.
- Skills or previous experience in using AI powered data analytics solutions, in particular with predictive analytics, forecasting and attribution modelling.
- Experience in working with web analytics tools (Google or Adobe Analytics), data warehouse/big data, tag managers and conversion optimization tools and ability to use and create reports with Looker Studio (former Google Data Studio), MS Excel and Tableau software independently.
- Attention to detail & curiosity - you like to dig into trends and find the story behind them.
- Good communication skills and full professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken (the company language is English).
