OsoiteWe are looking for a Solution Analyst to join our Data Governance team in the Core Banking System tribe for a seven-month fixed term period from 1st of July 2024 to 31st of January 2025. The position is based in Helsinki but our remote work practices in Finland area are flexible.
What is the role and team like?
We are currently enabling a gradual transformation of Retail and Corporate Banking segments in OP Financial Group. Transformation is enabled by shared core banking system and other system upgrades. As the name suggest, Core Banking System tribe is responsible of OP's new core banking system and successful transformation, also known as Valas, as a whole.
We are now seeking a Solution Analyst to plan, document and manage Data Governance and data technology on Core Banking System area.
As a Solution Analyst you will manage the ongoing maintenance and support of the ODS and EDW, including monitoring and troubleshooting issues. You will work closely with the business users and technical teams to gather and analyze requirements for data integration and reporting and provide technical expertise and support to end-users for reporting and data analysis.
What are we looking for?
We hope to find a process orientated person with experience of functional specifications and software requirements. Understanding software production processes, known practices and agile methodologies will help you to succeed in this role.
We work with the following technologies and hope you are familiar with most of them:
• Design and implement data models for the ODS and EDW that meet business requirements and align with the overall data architecture.
• Develop ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to populate and maintain the ODS and EDW.
• Manage the ongoing maintenance and support of the ODS and EDW, including monitoring and troubleshooting issues.
• Strong understanding of data productization and mapping.
Additionally, knowledge of these will be beneficial for this role:
• Continuously review and improve the ODS and EDW to ensure it meets evolving business needs and industry trends.
• Ensure data quality and accuracy by designing and implementing appropriate data validation checks.
• Work closely with the Data Governance team to ensure compliance with data policies and standards.
• Azure Data solutions.
Since you will co-operate with many different stakeholders, you will need good communication skills in English, Finnish skills are considered as a plus.
