About this opportunity
Welcome to the Nordea Group Financial Management (GFM) and the Capital Management & Regulation team! We add value by ensuring a strong, sustainable and regulatory compliant balance sheet while maximising the net interest margin within the overall risk-appetite and supporting business areas' ability to serve customers well. You'll be an integral part of the Allocation Frameworks team, where we mainly focus on the capital allocation framework, which is central in measuring and managing the Group's value creation. As an Analyst/Senior Analyst you'll play a valuable role in designing the models and methods underpinning these frameworks.
What you'll be doing:

• Communicate and explain key capital and profitability findings and drivers to various stakeholders in the banks as well as to other internal and external stakeholders
• Developing models & tools to support strategic decisions in GFM to enable good risk management and performance management
• Analyze data, perform impact studies, and proactively develop and implement improved methodologies for capital allocation
• Drive and set IT requirements and implementation

Your experience and background:

• An academic degree in economics, finance or mathematics
• Experienced in programming languages such as SAS, Python, R-studio is an advantage
• Good knowledge of MS Office (especially excel and powerpoint)
• Experience with capital allocation and/or performance management is a plus
• Knowledge about different financial risk types and financial regulations such as Basel frameworks and CRR
• Fluency in professional English - both verbally and in writing
