In the VA Electric Vehicle Systems we develop and manufacture battery systems from 48V up to High Voltage for automotive and industrial applications. Valmet Automotive covers the full range from contract manufacturing to a TIER1 system supplier.
Here's where you'll make an impact
We are looking for electrical End Of Line (EOL) test engineer in our High Voltage Battery production. Main focus being to design and implement test systems in our industrialization projects and projects that are already in series production phase. Act as a primary contact for customer/external partners in projects (EOL systems). You will be part of manufacturing engineering team and supporting internal and external customers in our battery productions in Uusikaupunki. The team will be responsible for maintain existing production and design, simultaneous engineering from an ME subproject point of view, cost calculation in the RFQ-phase, implementation and installation as well support the ramp up of production according the project plan and budget.

Your job include
- Troubleshooting errors and streamlining the test procedures
- Writing up work instructions and training for maintenance / operators staff
- Ensuring all test and procedure meet customer and company standards
- Meetings with the product design team to determine product testing parameters
- Preparing test reports for management
We expect you to have
- M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering, computer science or computer engineering or other similar fields
- Previous work experience as a test engineer
- Familiarity with testing tools
- Knowledge of engineering and testing procedures
- Good problem-solving skills
- Ability to project manage
- Ability to troubleshoot and think out of the box
- Dynamic, enthusiastic and flexible approach
- Fluent English-language skills
