About This Role
As a Senior QA Engineer at Aktia, where you'll be a key player on our QA team, collaborating closely with developers, external partners, and experts to deliver exceptional value to our users. You'll take charge of project test planning, test strategies, risk identification, and quality reporting while championing a culture of continuous improvement.

Your role will be to enhance Aktia's CRM system across various components, from UI to integrations and databases. You'll play a vital part in setting and achieving quality assurance goals that align with our broader objectives. Key responsibilities include:

• Validate requirements and technical specifications
• Devise comprehensive end-to-end testing strategies
• Develop test plans and oversee testing activities, including proactively mitigating risks
• Lead external QA engineers and guide development team through development cycles
• Provide testing report and improvement recommendations to stakeholders
• Contribute to refining established test processes and reporting
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and foster collaboration
• Create test cases aligned with requirements and priority
• Build and maintain test suites
• Support team in developing a robust test automation solution
• Participate actively in Aktia's QA community and offer support when needed

We expect the successful candidate to have:

• Demonstrated track record of at least 3+ years in a senior role or leading testing activities
• Established proficiency in test management specifically tailored for large-scale projects
• Proven hands-on experience in testing SaaS-based applications, UI and API testing
• Profound understanding of test automation
• Familiarity with various testing dimensions including performance, accessibility, usability, and security
• Proficiency in agile methodologies
• Strong English communication skills (verbal and written)
• Basic proficiency in Finnish/Swedish language
• Qualities of flexibility, patience, and resilience

Additional preferred skills and qualifications:

• Prior working exprience of CRM system in financial services
• Familiarity with Robot Framework, Xray, and JIRA
• Experience with CI/CD tools and container technology
