Job Responsibilities

 

As Senior Hardware Engineeryou will be part of a team responsible for the electrification of on and off-highway vehicles through new product development projects.

 

Key tasks and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following: 

- Lead electrical and electronics design work

- Plan and review Team's design activities

- Daily follow up progress of design engineers

- Create/review product requirements

- Generate design verification specifications and testing requirements

- Generate engineering reports and documentation

- Work with other workstreams and program management to meet program objectives

You demonstrate a proactive and executional mindset, being an effective and enthusiastic team player who is not afraid of working independently or taking responsibility.

 

You have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with a global mindset.

Background & Skills

 

To be considered for this role, you hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar.

 

You have +5 years of experience working with product design and development and/or engineering research.

 

You show high proficiency & fluency in English - both spoken and written.

 

Furthermore, we will appreciate skills and qualifications within: 

- Proficiency in PADS and Teamcenter PLM

- Understanding of functional safety (especially ISO 26262) and experience of developing products for automotive industry

- Understanding of cyber security (especially ISO 21434)

- Experience with Git, Azure DevOps and some requirements management tool

- Understanding of power electronic converters and electric traction system
