Senior Data Engineer

About the role

We are strengthening our team in the Digital Customer Offering unit with Senior Data Engineers to take part in building the new harmonized Customer Data Platform. The purpose of the data platform is to provide canonical and harmonized data models across all Consumer Solutions brands in all countries we operate in. 

In this role, you will:

• Oversee Data Engineering activities in your own responsibility area
• Build data processing frameworks
• Work with data architects
• Strive to continuously develop new and improved Data Engineering capabilities

We are looking for 2 Senior Data Engineers and the role can be located in Espoo FI, Stockholm SE or Oslo NO.

About you 

To succeed and thrive in this role you have:

• Higher relevant education, preferably in technology/economics, with emphasis on quantitative subjects and IT
• Experience in leading Data Engineer work
• Knowledge of Data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and their main tools (DataBricks, Data Lake, DataFactory, Delta Lake)
• Knowledge of programming languages  (e.g. Java and Python)
• Experience with reporting solutions (PowerBI, Qlik) and with SQL structure (SQL Server, SQL pools, Snowflake, or other)
• Good understanding of API integrations
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and navigate through a high-paced, fast-changing environment
• Professional proficiency in English and one of the other Nordic languages Finnish, Swedish or Norwegian
• You are a great team player with proven ability to influence and communicate at all levels across organizations
