Team of Wartsila marine engineering simulator is looking for C++ developer. You can become part of a team which works on a market leader product (45% market share) that imitates marine engineering functionality for vessels.
Education:
- Physics faculty of a university
- Physics and mechanics faculty of Polytechnics university
- Engineering and physics faculty of a university
Responsibilities:
- Development of components and services for a marine engineering simulator
- Provide guidance on project configuration/structure.
- Mentor and foster the professional development of a small team while also being a significant individual contributor
- Team development
- Development in C++, C#
- Code review
- Development under Windows
Requirements:
- Experience in Software Development 5 years or more
- Excellent C++ architecture, programming, optimization
- Knowledge of algorithms and data structures
- Proficient in any source control, debuggers, profilers and other Software Development tools
- Team leading and problem solver skills
Will be a plus:
- Knowledge of COM/ATL
- Knowledge of C#
- Knowledge of Qt
- Knowledge of computational geometry algorithms
- Experience in distributed system design.
This is a permanent role, the location is Finland or Serbia.
