About this opportunity
We are looking for three Management Partners/Management Support Officers to join the Nordea Finance Management Office team to work directly with either Receivables Finance, Retail Finance or Credit Risk Management. As part of this role you will work directly with the respective Head of the area and support the management team - and specifically for the Receivable Finance Management Partner you will as well support the Finnish company management. Moreover, in all three areas you will have the opportunity to partake in running a Nordic scale organisation by e.g. taking lead in securing organisational engagement, conducting analysis as well as preparing material to senior executive leadership. At the same time you will be involved in a range of strategic activities through participation in projects, planning processes and operational improvements.
In Receivables Finance we mainly work with Nordea bank customers and thereby have a close relationship with our colleagues in the bank business areas. We together support our clients in finding the best solutions for managing working capital and we are on a journey for securing profitable growth. This position will be based in Finland.
In Retail Finance the focus is on household customers where we enable purchases ranging from kitchens to glasses and much more. We deliver our financing solutions through an extensive catalogue of partners through e.g. in-store solutions or e-commerce. We are consequently a high-paced sales organisation with a significant development agenda. This position will be based in Finland.
Credit Risk Management is at the cornerstone of enabling business, as we manage credit risk through the full lifecycle for all our business lines. Specifically, we add value by defining the Credit Risk Framework of Nordea Finance, manage its data and credit risk models, produce automated credit decisions and credit process optimisation as well as conducting portfolio monitoring - all-in-all to secure we are a trusted financial partner that can deliver profitable business. This position will be based in Norway or Finland.
What you'll be doing:

• Preparing analysis and deliveries to internal and external stakeholders, including senior management where complex topics must be conveyed in an easily understandable way
• Facilitate management team meetings with focus on ensuring efficient execution by linking to on-going activities in other fora, following-up on actions and ensuring quality discussion/decision material
• Monitoring and following-up on high-attention topics e.g., project deliveries, audit issues, regulatory findings and more
• Participating in workforce planning and budget oversight for department
• Moreover, in this role you also have the opportunity to tailor activities based on your own interests and development goals. This could for example be achieved by:
  • Taking part in projects as coordinator/facilitator
  • Focusing on data driven activities and reporting
  • Participating in sales processes and account management
  • Process efficiency and automation
  • Regulatory requirements

You'll join the Nordea Finance Management Office team comprised of various executive leadership support functions - while being directly allocated to and participating in the relevant unit leadership team. With this, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of independent, self-driven and experienced professionals with a diverse background. The roles are located in Helsinki or Oslo.

Your experience and background:

• You have a Master's degree or higher in any of the following: finance, business, economics, or other quantitative related field
• You have a high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Ability to handle several complex tasks simultaneously and also coordinate key projects with a variety of stakeholders will be required
• Must have excellent written and spoken communication skills in English
• Experience working with communication, data and analysis will be an added advantage
