We are the owners of Valmet's operative accounting and invest heavily in process harmonization and software automation. Enabling automation to meet growing business needs while optimizing productivity is one of the keys to success in this position. Global Process Owner, P2P will focus on the design and global implementation of the end-to-end process and basic tool set-up, including new ERP, to all Valmet businesses and operations. You are the business owner for Basware IA. GPO is responsible for operative process management and governance for the end-to-end value chain from vendor invoice management and travel and expenses process point of view. We are looking for a senior finance and accounting Leader to join our Global Financial Operations team on our journey to new mode of operations in Finance which will harmonize and centralize the roles and responsibilities globally in Finance.
You will be part of Global Financial Operations team working closely with other end-to-end GPO's as well as other functions related to process, e.g., Procurement, Business Finance and HR. Your global team managers are located in Valmet Areas, and they report to you either directly or in matrix.
You will report directly to the Head of GFO.

Requirements
- Strong and extensive experience of overseeing P2P to ensure that the processes are efficient and compliant end to end
- In-depth understanding and practical experience of developing finance end-to-end processes, tools and organizations preferably in publicly listed international company/companies
- Demonstrated ability to act as a change agent and lead large global projects
- Master's degree in finance or accounting and/or a recognized accounting qualification
- Proven leadership track record (5+ years) gained in senior finance positions
- In-depth understanding of the financial accounting management and controls required of the company
- Self-motivated leadership with ability to roll up sleeves when working across teams and functions to influence action
- Ability to identify critical topics and process issues where necessary
- Excellent communication skills with ability to deliver complex messages in an effective way
- Fluent in written and spoken English and Finnish
- The position involves traveling globally, so readiness to travel and working across time zones is a must
- The position is located preferably in Finland
