- Draw on existing architectures and technology standards to determine feasible options
- Drive strategic architecture decisions which impact economy of scale and interoperability
- Interact with solution architects to ensure the architecture is realized
- Interact with the wider architecture community to facilitate learning and maturation
- Interact with senior executives, change leaders, and fellow architects to clarify the problems to be solved
