Chauffeur/ Kuljettaja

Summary:

The U.S. Embassy in Helsinki is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of Chauffeur.

The work schedule is full-time, 40 hours per week. Rotating schedule in two (2) shifts including weekends.

Candidate must be able to begin working within a reasonable period of time (four weeks) of receipt of agency authorization and/or clearances/certifications or their candidacy may end.

Duties:

Performs driving of official vehicles for the officers of the Embassy and official visitors.

Performs messenger and delivery work, to include parcels, and any other duties of a messenger nature assigned by the supervisor.

Performs administrative tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends.     

Requirements:

EXPERIENCE:  At least two years’ experience as a professional driver or at least seven years’ experience as a non-professional driver.

Education Requirements:

Completion of Secondary School.
