Join us in our transformative journey as a
Category Lead, Fazer Lifestyle Foods
As a Category Lead you will be part of the Commercial Management team in Fazer Sweden, while also belonging to the broader Group Commercial Organisation with expertise and strategic sales excellence cross business areas and markets. You will be responsible of securing strategic and customized category sales plans and growth initiatives, ensuring category growth and sustainable brand development on the Swedish market. Fazer Lifestyle Foods covers three Business units: Plant based drinks, Fruit and Cereals with key brands being Fazer Aito, Froosh and Frebaco.
This is a new and crucial role for the dialogue with Business units, including tasks where you:
  • Contribute by providing market, customer and shopper insights from the market to support development of brand strategies.
  • Lead development and anchoring of solid yearly sales strategies, plans and targets.
  • Track, analyse and report customer and shopper data on a regular basis to make category- and shopper insight an integrated part of the business.
  • Own KAM Brief meeting chair to define agenda and co-ordinate presentations.
  • Own listing and distribution target setting, argumentation and follow up.
  • Support in S&OP Meetings to ensure short and mid-term forecast for demand.
  • Ensure smooth and focused dialogues between Business and Commercial unit

In the Commercial unit and with customers you will also initiate and run category projects, optimize portfolio priorities, and deliver promo- and campaign strategies. As part of the Commercial management team in Sweden you will contribute to ensure short and mid-term growth initiatives. You will also:
  • Contribute in planning new product introductions and Go-to-Market plans to secure perfect launches in the market
  • Develop category argumentation and insight to build Fazer as a forerunner in your categories.
  • Support KAM in customer meetings to ensure successful category development.
  • Build relations with customers' category teams to understand their strategies and how Fazer can support.
  • Lead category development discussions with customers category management and sales organisations

This is a permanent fulltime position located in Stockholm, Sweden (hybrid work is possible) in our new Office in Hagastaden. You will report to Head of Commercial unit, Fazer Sweden.

What you'll bring to the team
You have at least 8 years of experience from category or product management and KAM / Sales management roles. You have a proven track record of successfully managing a complex matrix organisation role and experience from FMCG in Sweden is required. Experience and understanding of assigned categories is an advantage.
To be successful in the role, we see that you have strong financial and analytical understanding, strong business acumen and outstanding influencing and collaboration skills. Knowledge to customer POS data tools and shopper-insight understanding is an advantage.
You also have a Master's Degree in Economics or equivalent.
You are fluent in Swedish and English. Other Nordic languages are beneficial.
