We are now looking for a Business Intelligence (Senior) Analyst to join UPM Communication Papers Strategy & Development team. The position will start as of 1st April 2024 and will be based in Augsburg, Germany or Helsinki, Finland. Other locations could be also considered.

What you will do 

-      Build and sustain understanding of business environment by actively following industry trends, competitive landscape, and market developments 

-      Create and continuously develop solutions to deliver insights across the organization 

-      Conduct analytical deep dives such as industry benchmarks, cost, and market analyses to complement the comprehensive monitoring of our environment  

-      Support the development of Communication Papers' strategy, conducting quantitative and qualitative analyses to derive strategic implications  

-      Cooperate with key stakeholders to understand relevant background information and market situation to make analyses most meaningful and contextually relevant  

-      Conduct info calls and presentations for a diverse audience on market insights 

-      Cooperate with and support Analyst Team with different reporting tasks 

 

 

Who you are 

-      You have Master's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering or related field 

-      You have at least 3 to 5 years of experience in analytical roles, especially in the relevant industry or function 

-      You demonstrate high analytical and critical thinking skills, being proficient in data management, able to identify patterns, and understand the underlying trends 

-      You are able to communicate insights in a concise and understandable way 

-      You are as comfortable with PowerPoint as with analysis tools, like Excel or PowerBI 

-      You easily connect with different stakeholders across the company, showing good interpersonal skills 

-      You coordinate your work in a well-organized and independent manner and you enjoy working in an international work environment contributing to strategic initiatives 

-      You are fluent in spoken and written English; other languages are considered as a beneficial asset
