Job Responsibilities
We are developing a world class cloud monitoring system for district energy (heating, cooling) using modern technologies like Node.js, React, Azure, Kubernetes, InfluxDB, MongoDB and Various 3rd party services. We are now looking for a strong Software developer who are experienced in backend software development with a high-quality mindset. We welcome you to our modern, dynamic, ambitious and global development team who knows how to have fun, and who fully empowers team members from Finland, Poland and Slovenia. As the team meets 2 or 3 times per year, moderate travelling is expected.
Some of the key activities will include:
Designing and implementing new features.
Playing a crucial role in developing software solutions at every stage of the product development life cycle.
Collaborating with product management on the technical aspects.
Collaborating with the team in shaping and refining software architecture designs for optimal performance and scalability.
Collaborating with sales, customers, and external stakeholders to understand requirements.
Staying updated on the latest trends and technologies, and actively incorporating new advancements into our development processes.
Engaging in code reviews to maintain code quality and contributing to the continuous improvement of development practices.
Providing guidance and support to junior team members
Background & Skills
WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU, if you are collaborative and open-minded person and a committed Backend developer with proven experience with JavaScript, Typescript and Node.js in a modern software development environment.
On top of that, you should be able to checkmark some of the points listed below:
University degree in Computer and Information science.
At least 3 years of experience in web software development.
Professional experience with JavaScript, Typescript and Node.js.
Experience in frontend software development is an advantage - We use React.
Practical experience working with cloud platforms, preferable Azure.
Experience with modern programming languages and web technologies.
Active knowledge of English language.
Experience in agile working methods (SCRUM) and Continuous integration principles.
Experience in one or more of the following technologies (Typescript, React, Node.js, Azure, MongoDb, InfluxDb, Kubernetes).
Experience with IoT implementations.
