Tax Technology Trainee

Job Description

We are looking for a Tax Technology trainee to join the Tax & Legal Technology Team within Tax and Legal Services for a 12 month full-time internship.

As a Tax Technology Trainee, your role is to work with our Tax & Legal Technology consultants and other PwC expert teams on customer projects related to digital transformation, data analytics, data integration and process automation.

Ideally you would be able to start in April or May. We are primarily seeking a full-time trainee.

As a Tax Technology Trainee, you will typically get to:

• Assist in data preparation and analytics in fields of direct and indirect taxation.
• Prepare data visualisations.
• Assist in preparing background research and client documentation (proposals, discussion papers and project reporting).
• Assist in client meetings and demo sessions.
• Do other ad hoc tasks related to data analytics and automation of tax and legal reporting.

An ideal candidate would have

• studies within the field of Business, Information Systems or Information Service Management.
• a basic understanding of how accounting in ERP systems works.
• an interest in data analytics and digitalisation. Prior experience with any of the following tools: Excel, Microsoft Power Platform (including Power BI), Alteryx, other data processing and visulisation solutions. You don't have to master all of these, but some prior exposure to them will help in getting up to speed.
• good communication skills in Finnish and English.
